HOB ELECTIONS-2004

I just got mailed an "information packet" with the information about the
upcoming "elections"... with a statement that they have been "unable to find
anyone to be editor of the Dean Road". They promise everyone will get the missing copies once they find a new editor.

The issue isn't a new editor; the issue is "They are attempting to hold an election without publication in the newsletter". These [people] don't know what by-laws are!

"Nominee's are:
Lauren Boyd, President, David A. Boyd, Jr. Vice President; Barbara Boyd Hoehn, Secretary; Jeanne Messner, Treasurer; Don Mellen, Executive Board; Christopher J. Boyd, Sr; Executive Board; Michael F. Boyd, Executive Board; Emma May Hunter, Executive Board."

"Ballots for the upcoming elections will be sent out soon. The Board has
appointed Ronald Boyd of Colorado to serve as Ballot Clerk. Details will
follow with Ballots".

This whole thing is a farce, and against the by-laws. But so is the whole organization. But it is the first election they have had since the illegal one of 1999.

I agree and further state that they will all be elected because they won't let anyone else on the ballot. RGB

May 2005, As far as I know, no election was ever held and no ballots were sent to members. RGB
