We are an all volunteer organization dedicated to the research and preservation of Boyd Family genealogy and history.........including all variant spellings of the surname Boyd.

To render genealogical research assistance to Clan members via discussion list, newsletter, web site, and data base.

To provide a Clearinghouse of free data available to all who seek Boyd Family history.

To honor our heritage and to inspire among our members and descendants the pride and spirit of our Celtic ancestors, both Scottish and Irish, and to perpetuate for the present and future those customs, traditions, values, qualities, and attitudes from the past which proved to be of a socially redeeming nature.

To collect and preserve literary, historical and genealogical records, documents and relics relating to Clan history.

To reunite all Boyds of whatever spelling, or degree of descent,    with their "cousins" and their heritage.

To support and sponsor local, state, regional, national, and international gatherings of the Clan Boyd.
