Daughters of the American Revolution

The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) has graciously given me permission to use the following records from the DAR lineage books on this Web Site.

For information on the NSDAR see their Web Site below:  http://www.dar.org/  or contact them at their mailing address.

National Society Daughters of the American Revolution
1776D Street, NW
Washington, DC 20006

These are records of persons who have proven their line to a Soldier of the American Revolution. Some of these have a lot of data and some do not. Each entry shows the connection of the person seeking membership in the NSDAR and their lineage to that soldier.

These records are not presented here in alphabetical (or in any other order).  Other than using your "Find on page" option or the Search Engine the only way to search these records is to wade through them.  They are published in 10 parts, and each part has 10 to 20 pages or from 50K to 100K of data.  Please allow ample time to download.

NOTES TO RESEARCHERS

When you use this site, please keep in mind the difference between primary and secondary sources and the importance of checking those sources. Accept nothing without further checking. It is our hope that through this collection of data from many sources, you will find a piece of the puzzle that you are working on and that may lead you to other discoveries.
