Distinguished-Service Cross

Boyds who earned the Distinguished-Service Cross

If you are collecting Boyd WWI data for the US you should check out the
book "American Decorations, a list of awards of the Congressional Medal
of Honor the Distinguished Service Cross and the distinguished service
medal awarded under the authority of the congress of the United States
1862-1926"
published in 1927 by the US Government printing office. Seven
Boyd men including my grandfather, William Caswell Boyd, and two of his
brothers, Richard and Logan, are listed in it as receiving the distinguished service cross. I don't remember if there are Boyd's in the other two section or not. This book is at the Dallas Public Library in Dallas, TX.
