1. Patrick Boyd, a shoemaker, married Jane McFarlane in 1842. * My great, great, great grandparents.  Patrick died 1862, Parents listed as Alexander and Margaret. Patrick may have been the brother of Alexander who married Susannah Green.

Samuel born 26th September, 1845. He was baptised on 10th June 1846 in the Parish of St Andrew Scots Church Sydney, County of Cumberland NSW (Reg. no. 5913 Vol:45C)  Died 1920.   * My great, great grandfather

Margaret (b 1852)
John F (b 1859)
Jane (died 1871)

2. Samuel Boyd married Mary Senior on 11th January, 1868. They were married at 41 Burton Street Balmain. Samuel was a boilermaker and lived in Cooper Street. Mary Senior lived in Darling or Dowling Street, Balmain.

George Senior Boyd married Sophia Mary Boyd in 1908. Sophia's birth, in 1878, was registered originally under her mother's maiden name Charlotte Jones (as Sophia Mary Jones) but was later registered  (1908) as Sophia M Boyd, with father listed as William John Boyd (b 1850). William's parents were Alexander Boyd and Susannah Green (m. 1838).

3.Herbert Stanley Watson Boyd, an Ironworker's assistant of 17 St Andrew's Street, Balmain,  married Janet McSparran, a domestic servant of 15 Cooper Street Balmain on the 9th May 1904 at The Manse, Presbyterian Church, Balmain. The witnesses of the marriage were Sophie Boyd and Samuel Boyd.

 Children of Herbert Boyd and Janet McSparran:

Stanley Clifford (b 1907# d 1931) He died of tuberculosis

Margaret Olive (b 1910# d 1939)   * My grandmother. She died of perontinitis.

Jean Ellen (b 1916 d  1976#)

4. Margaret Olive Boyd married John Henry Rae (b. 1906) in 1927 (# to be confirmed)
