Here now my information to the Boyds from Germany !
Since a year I make the pedigree of the family Boyde from Germany.
Altogether I have 130 persons, who have the name Boyde (Boythe). I send
many E-Mails:
1. information to the Boydes, professions, characters
2. List of all Boyde in Germany
3. nobilities of "Boyd" in Germany !
1. Since a year make I the pedigree of my family. All information
have been prepared by me. Thank you very much also my uncle Professor Dr.
Willi Hessler, which had collected many information for me. All Boyde are Protestant.
The most from you come from the area Bitterfeld / Delitzsch / Dueben /
Pouch / Muehlbeck / Schleitz / Loebnitz (Saxony, picture1).
Summon: Weavers, Parson, Farmer, Musicians. My cousin, Andreas Boyde, lives in London and is artist of Pianist !
Character: very humorously, industriously and ambitiously, musically An uncle of me has said, that the name has come Boyde of the battle of
Hastings of France after Germany. I have discovered also a noble titles (1675)! In Germany there are 2 kinds of Boyde:
1. A line, which descend from the Huguenot. In the year 1685,
8000 Huguenots have come after Berlin/Potsdam. Under you were some Boyde
thereby. In September I see a list at (university of Mannheim), in which the 8000 Huguenots are registered.
2. My line goes to in the year 1736 ! In next time I drive around again after Loebnitz, to see in which chirchbooks. There was a
lock/castle, on which some Boydes have lived !

I am born at that 24.07.1966 in Brehna. At that 09.06.1990 married I
Brit Saalfeld. We have 2 children, Felix (08.12.1992/Heidelberg) and Patricia (21.01.1995/Heidelberg).
I have discovered the first named Boyde on a bill from the year 1921.
On the top text stands following: (Picture 2)
"Anno domini 1473 at the Saturday before Jubilate, as which
sun... is the city of Bitterfelt of Hansas Weaver broke; on self time
of count Gebhard of Mansfelt their Mr. been and Dictus Poyde mayors".
Furthermore there were some brothers in Bitterfeld, which have owned
country (1530-1560), likewise becomes called a Antonie Poyda (1585), which has inherited farms and land around Bitterfeld.

My genealogy of the BOYDE - family in Germany extend only to in the
year 1742. There are however similar spells like "POYDE" or "POYDA",
which existed already in the year 1472. An uncle of me said, that the name has come BOYDE after the
battle of Hastings after Europe. There is not a connection with the BOYD - family up to now .
Perhaps knows somebody from you a Boyde in the USA, the genealogy makes.
So far first once from Germany !
