Bann Valley, Northern Ireland

For those who have Boyd interests in the Bann Valley, Northern Ireland:

The Bann Valley, NI: The River Bann flows through Ulster, separating
Londonderry from Antrim. It drains Lough Neagh to the north, meeting the
sea at Coleraine near the Giant's causeway.

Just a few of the many records transcribed and available on the web site

below:

Aghadowey Parish Church Graveyar
Aghadowey (Church of Ireland) Marriage Records
Aghadowey Presbyterian Church Marriage Records
Aghadowey Presbyterian Church Graveyard records
Bovedy (Tamlaght O'Crily) Presbyterian Church Graveyard records
Garvagh (Desertoghill) Church of Ireland Marriage Records
Kilrea (Church of Ireland) Graveyard
Moneydig Presbyterian Church Marriage Records
Moneydig Presbyterian Church Graveyard includes a plot map and lists of
plot owners.
Moyletra Toy Parish Church Graveyard
St Pauls, Garvah (Errigal and Desertoghill) Graveyard

A transcription of Kernohan's "The Parishes of Kilrea and Tamlaght
O‘Crilly". An interesting part in this book is the "Historical Account
of Boveedy Congregation". Of particular interest is the "First
Introduction of Presbyterianism" where you will find reference to Rev
Thomas BOYD..... "Brief Ministries" a reference to Rev D.T.BOYD...and a
very interesting piece, "Scotch-Irish Emigration", referencing Rev. Wm.
BOYD and the five ships to Boston in 1718.

*Many* BOYDs listed in the Bann Valley records....so if your BOYDs came
from the Bann Valley area, perhaps you may want to check them out :-)
