I was in the church founded by Hugh Boyd last week.
These inscriptions are on the walls:

1st inscription

1872 Erected by Major General Hugh Boyd
To the memory of his parental family of whom many lie buried beneath
this church founded 1756 by Colonel Hugh Boyd who rests in family vault.
Parents:
Ezekiel Davys Boyd, died 1st June 1835, Aged 67
Catherine Boyd Died 17th June 1850, Aged 81
Brothers and Sisters:
Catherine Boyd (Mrs. Gage) died 22nd day of October 1852, Aged 61
Ezekiel Davys, Died 14th Jan 1872, Aged 79
Amy, Died 26th April 1856, Aged 61
Major Francis Turnly Died 11th Feb 1867, Aged 70
Hugh, Died Young
Rosetta (Mrs. McGildowny) Died 9th May 1871, Aged 72
Jane Turnly, Died 6th Sept 1870, Aged 61

2nd Inscription
Sacred to the Memory of Major Francis Turnly Boyd
Born 19th November 1796
Died 11th February 1867
Aged 70 years
Jean Charlotte, his wife
Born 18th September 1809
Died 18th December 1874
Aged 65 years
Hugh, their second son
Born 3rd September 1838 Died 27th May 1875, Aged 36 years
Whose bodies lie in the family vault beneath.
Also their youngest son James Meik Boyd
Born 17th July 1850, Died 23rd January 1877, Aged 26 Years
Interred in Southampton Cemetery.
[I have no explanation for the differences between this and inscription 1]
This monument was erected by
Henrietta T. Haward and Ezekiel A. Boyd, in fond remembrance of their
Father, Mother and Brother

3rd Inscription

Erected by His Widow and Children
In Memory of Major General Hugh Boyd, Ballycastle
Who died 24th December 1876 Aged 76 years
General Boyd (of the Late Bengal Army) served with his regiment and on
the General Staff throughout India for a uninterrupted term of 32 years
from January 1824, a period of India's history as eventful in military
successes and glory as any preceding it, returning to India after a
short furlough in 1856. He closed his military career commanding a
brigade throughout the memorable Sepoy Mutiny of 1857-58

[I was a little far from this one when I took the picture of it, but I believe the
dates to be correct except where I have question marks? Please correct this posting if needed.]

I have promised more than I can deliver right now. The brass plates
in the photos have too much reflection on them.
One is for Cecil Sparrow Aged 20 and Tom Hay Aged 19 who were
drowned off Fair Head May 11 1893. In death they were not divided.
One is for Kathleen Boyd Young ?? 1944

My Rebecca Boyd was born about 1711 in Ballycastle. Married Archibald
McKaughan (the same as McCaghren) and came to Philadelphia in 1747.
