This is a list of the Boyds in the books "Papers Illustrating the History of The Scots Brigade in Service of the United Netherlands (Holland) 1572-1782" extracted by permission from the Government Archives at The Hague, and edited by James Ferguson. Published in 3 Volumes, 1898, 1899, 1901 by the Scottish History Society at Edinburgh, with 604, 588, and 616 pages respectively. Indexed.

Vol. I Pages 23 and 24 January 1583 lists a Colonel Boyd, (no Christian name given).

Vol. I Page 195 (11 August 1604) John Boyd maimed in both arms, was granted 200 Guilders disability pay.

Vol. I page 453 lists John Boyt/Boyd in reference to above disability listing.

Vol. I page 574 lists Alexander Boyd as an Ensign 7 May 1694 and 5 June 1695.

Vol. I Page 574 list a Charles Boyd* as an Ensign 1 August 1693.

Vol. I page 574 lists Robert Boyd a Lieutenant 1 Sept 1692.

Vol. I page 575 lists a Capt. James Boyd serving in 1694

Vol. III page 8 Regimental Records. James MacCollock baptized 28 Dec 1713, son of John and Jean Boyd MacCollock.

Vol. III page 250 Regimental Records, Janet Gray born 9 July 1761 in Namur, daughter of Corporal William Gray and Helen Boyd.

Vol. III page 286 William Gray and Helen Boyd were married 22 Mar 1753.
