Educated Glasgow University. Emigrated from Scotland to America 1743. Settled in Maine. Minister of Newcastle, Maine until 1758.

Fourth son of Dr William Boyd , Martinhall , Galloway. Merchant in London. Died 14 September 1794 in Guadaloupe.

 

Boyd, John

Youngest son of George Boyd in Borland. Minister of Freehold, East New Jersey. Testament registered 10 April 1710.

 

Boyd, John

Second son of Spencer Boyd, Penhill, Ayrshire. Died October 1821 at Williamsfield Estate, Jamaica.

 

Boyd, Robert

Youngest son of Andrew Boyd, minister of Twineholm. Merchant in Virginia. Testament registered 22 October 1783.

 

Boyd, Thomas

Scotland. Land grant of 500 acres in Georgia 1736.
