Rhode Island Family Histories

Robert Andrew Boyd

Hello Richard,

What a great site you all have!! I only recently agreed to help my half brother, Robert Dana Boyd, find information about his grandparents. I did find his grandfather's family in Providence, Rhode Island, USA in the 1920 census. He listed his birthplace as Rhode Island and his father and mother's birthplaces as Ireland. Would you please add his name to your list? I only wish I knew more but eventually it may appear as if by magic!

His name was Robert Andrew Boyd, age 39 in the 1920 census which puts him born in roughly 1881 in R.I.  It's safe to assume that his parents (how I
wish I knew their names) immigrated to Canada or Nova Scotia prior to
1881. He married Lavinia unknown who was born in Nova Scotia. I do know
that this was a Protestant family.

Thanks again for your site and the inclusion of Robert Andrew Boyd.

Regards,
Lea Head
