KS, and died September 14, 1992. She married (1) JOE SISSON May
1922. He died July 1950. She married (2) WHITFORD CLOVIS
RODROCK June 21, 1953, son of WILLIAM RODROCK and JEMIMA MULLINS.
He was born 1889 in near Ashbury, MO, and died April 28, 1954.

The Sisson Drug Store at Kincaid was broken into Wednesday night, by
breaking
into the front door. Zola Rodrock is the owner of the store. Tax money
of $38
was missing. Over Christmas there were break-ins at Colony, Lone Elm,
and
Greeley, that looked like the work of the same person or persons.

Obituary for Clovis Rodrock April 28, 1954.
Clovis Rodrock, farmer and oilman, died at his home here (Kincaid KS)
yesterday following an illness of several months. He was 65 years old.
He was a member of the Methodist Church. He farmed through his adult
life and
also opened a wholesale oil station. He is survived by his widow; a son,
W. C. Rodrock, and a daughter, Mrs. Vivia Huffman, all of Kincaid. Services
will be
conducted by the Rev. judd Wood at 2p.m. Thursday in the Methodist
church
here. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery, Mildred.

near Ashbury, MO., Feb. ??, 1889,died April 17, age 65 years, 2 months,

days. He came with parents to Kansas in 1898, near Blue Mound. Married
Mattie
Lou Reece, Sept 16, ??. Two children, W. C. Jr. & Vivian Huffman.
They farmed, then moved to Kicaid in 1923, where he operated a service station til he
retired in 1951. Wife died June 27, 1951. Married Zola Sisson, of
Kincaid
June 21, 1953. Two stepdaughters, Wanda Brubaker, Marion, KS., and Jean
Dahl, Seattle, Wash. Three brothers, Hiram, Combs, Ark; Jay, Denver, and
Walter, Garden City, KS survive.

ZOLA RODROCK
Zola Mae Boyd Sisson
Rodrock, 89, Kincaid, died Monday, Sept 14, 1992, at the Allen County
Hospital in Iola. She was born Aug. 11, 1903, the daughter of
Charles Hamilton and Alma Jane Orme Boyd. She graduated in 1922 from
Blue Mound High School. She married Joe Sisson in May 1922. He died in
July 1950. She had worked for a produce business from 1935-1940. She
then worked at Gibb's and later worked for the post office in Kincaid.
She purchased the Rexall Drug Store in Kincaid and named it Sisson's
Store. She operated the store until
1966. She married Clovis Rodrock in 1952. He died in 1954. Mrs. Rodrock
was a member of the Kincaid United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter J. Wanda Brubaker, Moran; two brothers,
Wilbur Boyd, Blue Mound, and Wilmer Boyd, of California; two sisters,
Jessie Leona Fraser and Ivalea Patricia Duke, both of Lancaster, Calif.;
and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dortha
Jean Dahl; and six brothers, Elvin, Guy, Lloyd, Clyde, Myron and Vernon
Boyd. The Rev. Clyde Noyce will conduct services at 10:30 a.m.
Friday at the Kincaid United Methodist Church. Burial will be in
Fairview Cemetery, east of Mildred, Kan. Memorials may be made to the
Kincaid United Methodist Church and may be left at the Kunkel
Funeral Chapel, Moran.
