Samuel Boyd / Mary Hart Cass Co; MI I am seeking any info on Samuel Boyd b. 1835 Quebec m. Mary Hart b. 1836 DO. They show in the 1861 Owen Sound Ontario Census along with several other Boyd families. Children are Ameline b. 1858, Fred b. 1859, Marshall b. 1861, Victoria b. 1863, Susan b. 1865, Aurelia b. 1867 and Amos b. 1869. In 1865 they moved with the 4 older children to Cass Co., MI. The residence of William C. Boyd (age 50) born in England m. Eliza (age 54) born in Ireland also show with children; Eliza (age 16), William (age13), Susan (age 11) and Robert (age 9). Also shown in the residence of William C. Boyd is Samuel C. Boyd age 81 born in Ireland. It is believed that William C. is the father of Samuel b. 1835 and that Samuel C. age 81 is his Grandfather. As I have been in touch with some distant cousins and to this day the middle initial C. is in both of our families and stands for Carson. Is there anyone that can connect to this family?
