William A. Boyd Newaygo County, Michigan
William A. Boyd, farmer, section 8, son of Richard Boyd, was born in Ohio, December 27, 1848. At the age of five years he came with is parents to Hillsdale County, Michigan where he lived until he came to Newaygo County; here he engaged in farming. In the fall of 1882, he built a steam saw-mill in Sheridan Township which has a capacity of 12,000 feet per day. He is a member of the Order of Good Templars, and in politics is a National.
