George B. Boyd, St. Paul, Res 796 Capitol Heights, office 416 Globe Bldg. Real estate. Born May 20, 1859 in Little Canada, Ramsey county, Minn., son of Dr. E. A. and Sarah Bragg (Farrington) Boyd. Married Jennie Hinds May 20, 1881. Educated in the public schools finishing at old high school 7th and Jackson streets, St. Paul. Engaged as clerk in mercantile business 4 years; traveled for Hoxsie & Jaggar comn merchants 1 year; engaged in comn business with his brother A. P. Boyd until 1885; then entered real estate business; with American Biscuit Mnfg. Co. as casher and credit man 1890-1904; re-entered partnership with A. P. Boyd in feed and fuel business 1894 becoming sole owner 1898-1904; re-engaged in the real estate business 1904 to date. Member of Board of Trade, Junior Pioneers Assn., I O O F, M W A, A O U W; and Chamber of Commerce in 1884.
