Engaged as broker and commission merchant since 1897; vice-president Boyd Commission Co., 1897-1901; partner in Boyd-Swartz Commission Co. since 1902. Also since 1903, president Elberta Peach and Land Co. Episcopalian. Club: Mercantile. Office: 709 Pine St. Residence: 5548 Clemens Ave.
