George
H. Boyd became famous for
his small wood carvings of birds. He made many pairs of shore birds and painted
them the actual color. He sold them for about fifty cents and now they sell for thousands of dollars.

don't think it was ever officially released. A rare book on the life of George Boyd (1873-1941), shoemaker/decoy maker, Seabrook, NH. Only 16 pages but lots of good info & some great
pictures of Boyds work. Very limited supply. $45.
