John R. Boyd....of NH belonged to senior groups; 89.

Hudson, New Hampshire---John R. Boyd, 89 died Saturday, May 12, 2001 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, New Hampshire.  He was the husband of Mildred (Keavey) Boyd for 66 years.

He was born in Fall River on October 11, 1911, a son of John H. and Helen
(Fitzgerald) Boyd.  He graduated from LaSalle Academy in Providence, RI in 1928.

Mr. Boyd was a past president of the Hudson Senior Citizens, a member of the American Association of Retired persons and the Nashua Senior Citizens.

He was also a Boston Red Sox fan.

Besides his wife, survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, John M. and Grace Boyd of Portsmouth, RI., and William and Roberta Boyd of Lowell, MA, four daughters and three sons-in-law, Janice Sullivan on New Bern, NC; Dorothy and John Parcelowicz of Tampa, FL; and Mary Lou and Grant Vanderpool and Barbara and Lewis Langathianos, all of Lowell; 16 grand- children; 10 great- grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Hooksett, New Hampshire: M. Maxine Boyd, 63, died Monday at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. She was born in Hillsboro, the daughter of Manuel and Mary (Rodriques) Teixeira. She lived in Hillsboro before moving to Hooksett in 2000. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1956 and Bentley College in 1958. She studied piano with Mildred Porter and at the Sherwood Conservatory of Music. Boyd worked as an insurance agent for Davis and Towle Group for more than 25 years, the SAU No. 34 for five years and for NHMA-PLT for more than five years. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, George Boyd of Hooksett; a son, Stephen Boyd of Milford, Mass., two  daughters, Susan Boyd of Manchester and Karen Cardoza of Hollis; a stepson, Michael Boyd of North Easton, Mass.; a brother, Ronald Teixeira of Florida; two sisters, Louise Horvath of Georgetown, Texas, and Catherine Teixeria of Winter Spring, Fla.; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A brother, A.M. Teixeira, died in 1997. Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 32 School St., Hillsboro. A memorial Mass will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Hillsboro. The Rev. Andre Thibodeau, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1818, Memphis, Tenn. 38101.
