Dr. Butler Boyd Dead At His Home in Oklahoma

The death of Dr. Butler Boyd at his home at Tishomingo, Okla., was announced in a telegram to his brother-in-law, Wesley Drane, of this city. The interment took place at Tishomingo today. The message was brief and contained no other information concerning his illness and death.

Dr. Boyd was for a number of years a resident of Clarksville, being engaged in the retail drug business at the corner of Third and Franklin Streets. During his residence here he married Mrs. G. H. Johnson, a widowed sister of Messrs. Will Drane, Wesley Drane, Walter Drane and Charlie Drane, of this city. Dr. Boyd was a gentleman of superior business qualifications and made his influence felt as a citizen while he resided in Clarksville.

Dr. Boyd was a son of Linn Boyd.
