Rachael/Rachel Boyd / Jesse Green

 Boone Co; MO to Union Co; Oregon

Rachael/Rachel Boyd b. in 1812 in KY; d. 14 Dec 1891 in Union Co., Oregon

Married Jesse GREEN in Boone County MO on 11 Aug 1833
Jesse was born 5 Dec 1811 in Henry County KY
He died 10 Mar 1893 in Union County OR
His parents were James G. GREEN, Sr. and Rachel BUTLER.
Their children: James, Levi Louis, Jeremia Dan and Mary Jane.

Jesse and Rachael (or Rachel) were living in Boone county MO when their daughter (my husband's grandmother) Louisa Jane GREEN was born.  Louisa Jane GREEN b: 13 Apr 1841, d: 11 Jun 1912 in Walla Walla, Walla county, WA.

Her siblings were:
Taylor H. GREEN, b c1834, md Louellen (?);
Henderson A. GREEN b c1836 md Eliza Ann Sanford;
James C. GREEN b c1837;
(Louisa b 1841);
Mary GREEN b c1843, md Matson EARP;
John A. GREEN b 13 Aug 1860, d 21 Jun 1911, md Elvira (?);
Elvisa GREEN. (This may be an error -- may be John's wife)

(These names and dates were given to me by an elderly cousin who had a remarkable memory, and had the names and stories from her father.  Many other things she told us have proven to be true, but some of this may be off a bit.)  I don't know how many of Louisa's siblings came west with their folks about 1863, but do know that some of them were here.  They settled in Union County near LaGrande, OR.  Found divorce papers for either John or James in the courthouse there.  He was a rich sheepman.

On 12 Nov 1863 Louisa married (grandpa) James Jasper STUBBLEFIELD who was born 17 Feb 1837 in Polk co., MO, died 31 Oct 1922 in Portland, Multnomah co., OR.
