I came upon these people, buried in Shiloh Cemetery, Delta Co. TX
I thought someone here might recognize them.

William J. Boyd
1859-1918

Eliza C. Boyd
1887-1902

Eliza would have been only 15 years old at her death. William was 28 years
older than she and was probably her father. . Hope they belong to someone.

I hope that the above is not too jumbled for you to read.  I have viewed the 1850 Virginia census and have come up with only one possibility as the father of my great grandfather, Robert C. Boyd.  He is Robert, born abt 1840 in Monroe Co Virginia.  His father was Robert born Aug 1790 in Greenbrier Co, Virginia, married a Catherine Ballantyne in Jan 1820 and died Jan 17,1879 in Monroe Co,Virginia.  They had 10 children, the eldest who as Andrew Ballantyne Boyd and the 8th child Robert b abt 1840.  Our Robert Boyd was born Robert C. Boyd on June 3,1841.

I really need to find someone who is related to this family to see if they might have any information on those who might have moved to Alabama in order to verify that I have the correct family.  I would also like to find someone who has more information backwards from Patrick Boyd born 1759 in Augusta Co. Virginia.

My grandfather was Walter Andrew Boyd born June 13,1892 in Caldwell Co,Tx.  He married Ethel Jenette Eppright born June 28,1894. His father was George Andrew Boyd born August 21,1866 in Alabama.  Robert C. Boyd had two girls.  He also had three boys, George Andrew, Robert W., and  Leonard.
