BOYD thinks the sickly appearance of many of the children is owing to the salt pork on wh they almost live Mr Groom goes today with two hired men & one of the boys near to the little Kakalin about 9 miles off to cut, hay from an Oneida prairie, permission having been obtained from the Chfs for that purpose.
